Project Galileo is a team of six students at Ysgol Brynrefail, North Wales, who are intent on taking our passion for STEM to the podium of F1 in Schools. The aim of the game is to design the fastest CO2 dragster to compete against the rest of the world.

Project Galileo may sound like a random name but there is method to the madness. It is a reference to the Italian physicist Galileo Galilei who was the first to mathematically describe speed as distance over time. Since our biggest aim is to be the fastest it seems appropriate, doesn't it?
