Adventureland

Sadly, in the grand scheme of things we cannot forget that Adventureland has lost a lot to get what we have now - it has lost the valuable space of Jungle Cruise, and a icon that forever will not appear in the parks for now. What that means is that Adventureland requires the necessary updates that keeps it not only big enough but relevant to the modern Disney Parks.

The main problem with Adventureland is that it lacks a cohesive theme- there's Agrabah in some places, tiki, and suddenly Carribean/Spanish theming. While some fans argue that this is able to immanent pure "Adventure" instead of a place like Fantasyland or Frontierland, it's still very messy and glaringly ugly compared to the other parks- especially with the Magic Carpets Ride (There are literally five other rides of the same ride type in WDW).

Changes

While not completely laid out on the map, here are the most major changes to the land.

Theme/Story - The theme of the land is centralized in the Caribbean/Polynesia, with a distinctive jungle vibe. It's a jungle filled with the mystery of adventure, whether it be a hodgepodge of ship pieces forming buildings or Tiki towers, the theme is stuck to a time period and idea- the adventure of the jungle.

Magic Carpets - Agrabah is completely wiped from the Adventureland area. Replacing it is an Aquatopia-style ride featuring rattan Tiki boats and wooden bird sculptures, where you spin around in the water as different elements splash and dance.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure - The ride is annexed into Adventureland, as it contains a similar feel to jungle adventure. The first phase of the ride had already been completed, and major updates will actually occur in the future (which is why fans feel it lacking in some parts). A new path is formed, carved out of the river that leads towards Big Thunder for Frontierland.

Pirates of the Carribean - The biggest ride renovation that continues the original motive of the ride in the parks goes to Pirates of the Carribean, which receives a major update to its first half, before the town scene. The fortress is remodeled to become that of a fortress made of ship parts, masts, flags, and wooden hulls dancing around and clashing to become a formidable pirate castle. The queue also winds through the much greener jungle, as inspiration is grabbed from the defunct Jungle Cruise.

The ride receives 4 extra minutes as its old queue is destroyed for the ride, and the new queue is on the old Jungle Cruise queue (confusing? Check the map). The ride begins outdoors and into the jungle of piracy. Similar to jungle cruises, natural elements like animals and plants are scattered about, and human intervention has appeared- broken ship pieces and treasure chests are thrown everywhere.

The slow buildup is similar to that of Disneyland's bayou, as the boats suddenly drop down into an extended cavern scene. Details and length are added, with the signature elements from Disneyland and the other parks added here. While the rest of the ride is relatively the same, the new queue and Jungle cruising additions bring MK's POTC to a top spot both for the park and compared to other POTCs worldwide.
