China and India had a clash over the border with reportedly over 200 Chinese troops arriving with only 50 Indian troops on guard to stop their advances resulting in hand-to-hand combat. Within 30 minutes, the Indian military outnumbered the Chinese soldiers who were forced to retreat. 

On March 4th, 2023; 17 people were found dead after a fire at a fuel storage station in Indonesia's capitol. The fire burned some of the hoes close by causing the residents into a panic. Many fleed with their belongings, causing 50 to be injured. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The turmoil in myanmar has been ongoing since 2021 after the military coup and government shut down the peaceful protests with deadly forces. On March 7th, soldiers in Myanmar have been accused of comitting war crimes. 17 bodies were found in the villages; local leaders said that they were detained by the military, later they were killed. 

On March 8, 2023; the South Korean media reporyed the US planned to intercept testing of the ICBM's, while North Korea warned of "overwhelming action" if they were shot down. Tensions remain high, and joint military drills were made by the US and SK to continue in the region. 

North Korea warned that they will be shooting down test missiles. Peiple think that this is a "decleration of war" from the North Korean leader. 

A 24-year-old chemical engineering university student of Adamson University from the Philippines by the name of John Matthew Salilig was last seen on February 18, 2023, heading to a welcoming rite of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity. His body was later found about an hour's drive away from his university. 

The US deployed troops on a strategic island in the northern Philippines to help Filipino navy keep the Chinese navy and government from taking control over the Philippines Sea. 

In South Korea as of right now, the fertility birth rate dropped below one child per woman in 2018. The rate is steadily continuing to drop; the country is said to be one of the lowest birth rate countries in the world. Due to this, South Korea's population is starting to shrink for the first time in 2021. 

During the earthquakes in Turkey, a reporter abandoned a live broadcast to rescue a young girl and her family from the aftershocks that occured. 

Archrivals Iran and Saudi Arabia agree to end years of hostilities in deal mediated by China; stating that this is a step into strengthing security and stability. This news shocks and shakens the middle east due to the uncertainty of the future. 

Currently Iran has arrested more than 100 people all over the country due to sucpecting of the poisoning of schoolgirls all over the country. Over 1000 school girls have been hospitalized with cardiac neurological and respitory symptoms after nitrogen gas was released in their schools. Iranians suspect that this is a deliverate attempt on punishing girls and women in participating in anti government protest. The families of the victims are protesting outside their schools throughout the country.
