a) Photos and Media
• Permission Used: android.permission.CAMERA, android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
• Purpose: To let you capture photos with your camera and select or save images to your device storage.
• Details: All photos are saved locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server unless you explicitly share them with a third-party app.
b) Internet Access
• Permission Used: android.permission.INTERNET
• Purpose: To enable sharing images via other apps, checking updates, and accessing certain features that may require an internet connection.
• Details: The app itself does not transmit your personal information or media to external servers.
c) Sharing Functionality
• The app allows you to send images to other apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, or open them in compatible viewers.
• This functionality is handled by your device's operating system; ProgressLens does not track, store, or share your sharing choices or the contents of your media.
3. How We Use Permissions
• Camera: Allows you to take photos for progress tracking.
• Photo/Media Storage: Allows saving and loading your progress images. The app never accesses photos or files outside of its dedicated folders unless you manually select them.
• Internet: Only used for features such as sharing images and checking for app updates or feedback. No media or personal data is sent to our servers.
4. Data Storage
• All images and folders you create are stored locally on your device under the ProgressLens directory.
• The app may display your existing folders and storage usage for your convenience, but this information never leaves your device.
5. Data Sharing
• We do not share your data with third parties.
• We do not store, analyze, or process your images on any external server.
• When you share an image using another app (e.g., Instagram or WhatsApp), that app’s privacy policy applies.
6. Children’s Privacy
ProgressLens does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. The app is designed for general use and does not require user sign-up or account creation.
7. User Rights
• You can manage and erase your progress images and folders directly from within the app.
• Uninstalling the app will delete all app data stored on your device, except for any images you have shared or exported outside the app.
8. Data Security
• ProgressLens stores all your content in private app folders and standard storage directories. Only you have access to your files, unless you choose to share them.
• We do not access, upload, or transfer your files or images without your action.
