Senior Communications Specialist: Will collaborate closely with technical staff and project management to develop and implement a communications strategy to increase awareness among target audiences of the project.
Key responsibilities: include working closely with technical experts to collect information on client activities for regular reporting; writing and distributing materials such as bulletins, success stories, fact sheets, and other documents; designing brochures, signage, banners and technical displays for project-related events; and ensuring a targeted and consistent message for key stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, project/process management, successful candidate will have superior written and verbal communications skills, both English and Spanish, and a proven ability to craft strategic messages and produce high quality publications. 5-7 years’ experience, preferably working with USAID or other development firm. Some regional travel required.
