Agriculture Finance Specialist
Scope of Work: Is responsible for developing financing solutions for small farmers and allied agribusinesses, working with farmer associations, micro-finance institutions, commercial banks, buyers, and input/machinery suppliers. S/he will help design crop-specific loan products, establish lending programs, and provide capacity building to supported financial institutions to analyze agricultural loan applications and management loan portfolios with farmers and other agribusinesses.
Qualifications: At least 10 years experience in the financial sector with commercial banks or MFIs; knowledge of the agricultural sector strongly preferred; MBA, MS Finance, or similar related advanced degree preferred; strong analytical and Excel skills required; English language proficiency preferred
