Dr. J.T. Thirukrishna is a distinguished academician and accomplished researcher with over 16 years of experience in Teaching, Research, and Academic Leadership. He currently serves as Professor and Head of IQAC, Research and Innovation at Sapthagiri NPS University, Bangalore, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University and specializes in Data Science, Cyber Security, and Wireless Sensor Networks.

Recognized as a Research Supervisor under VTU, Dr. Thirukrishna also serves as a Research Advisory Committee member at institutions such as Presidency University, VelTech University, and Reva University. He has successfully secured multiple research grants from prominent funding agencies including DST, AICTE, and VTU, and has submitted high-value proposals with several Crore’s, to bodies such as VGST, Microsoft, and NITI Aayog.

With a strong research portfolio, he has authored 50+ publications in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, including top-tier Q1/Q2 journals by Elsevier and Springer. He has published five books, contributed to numerous book chapters, and holds seven patents, including one granted internationally in the United Kingdom. His outstanding contributions have earned him accolades such as the Global Teacher Award, Best Research Performer, and the Award of Excellence in Research.
