Acted as the Director of Public Instruction, Govt, of West Bengal and Additional Director of Public Instruction, Govt. of West Bengal, Bikash Bhawan Kolkata, and Principal (WBSES) in different Govt. colleges, West Bengal, India.
Actively engaged in teaching and research more than three decades in different Govt. colleges and Universities, West Bengal, India.
Chairman/Member of different academic and administrative bodies of different colleges, universities and different other academic & research institutes in West Bengal, India.
I am proud to say that the vision of our Institutions is to make the students cognizable sound and ethically strong so as to enable them to carry out the task of building of the nation, while the mission of our Institutions is the universal access of learning irrespective of the caste and creed and among all the strata of the society. We are always trying to expand the scope of higher education for the weaker sections of the society including students of poor financial background of our state, who are first generation learners and are marginalized in the society. We believe that our students can face and solve every aspect of life which includes the issues of humanity also.
