ProFetch Data Deletion & Privacy

ProFetch is designed to function entirely without user accounts. We do not require sign-ups, and we do not collect personal identifying information such as names, emails, or passwords. Because there is no account to delete, managing your data is straightforward and remains largely in your control.

How to Request Data Deletion (Steps)

Since all of your personal usage data is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, you can initiate a complete data deletion simply by uninstalling the ProFetch app.

Types of Data Deleted and Kept (Retention Periods)

• Locally Stored Data (Deleted Immediately): Your downloaded media files, library records, app settings, and cached web data are stored locally on your device. This data is permanently deleted the moment you uninstall the app.

• Diagnostic & Analytics Data (Kept Temporarily, Deleted Automatically): To maintain app stability, we collect pseudonymous, non-identifying technical data (such as crash logs and Firebase installation IDs) via Google Firebase. Because this data is anonymous, it cannot be manually searched or deleted upon individual request. However, it is automatically purged according to Firebase's strict retention policies:

  • Crash logs: Automatically deleted within 90 days.

  • Analytics data: Automatically deleted within 2 to 14 months, depending on the event type.
