Currently, I am working as Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UPES, Dehradun, since July 2015. My job is to teach students various subjects of Computer Science ranging from core subjects for instance Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics to industry focused and aligned subjects for instance WebGL and Blender for 3D model creation and visualization. I enjoy my work as it gives me opportunity to train and motivate young minds for solving real world problems as well as offers me enough time to conduct experiments involving sensors and human subjects to test the proposed hypothesis. The last 2 years (2019 to 2021) have resulted in successfully publishing my the results of my research work in reputed SCI indexed journals. Enthusiastically, I have set higher objectives and research plan for the future which impactfully attracts recognition from the scientific community.
Previously, I have worked with Publicis Sapient Consulting Pvt. Lmt., Gurugram between Oct 2011 to May 2015. The job offered me life lessons and opportunity to grow from a college graduate to a resourceful professional. I was part of the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) software support and consulting team, for one of the European major Oil and Gas public utility company. Though I enjoyed the open, client focused and team work based work culture, I was always missing the academic atmosphere and research aspirations. Fortunately, I got the break to move in to the work, I love the most.
I have moved from a small town (Kotdwara) high school to a Govt. funded Engineering college to pursue my Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering, Kumaon Engineering College, Dwarahat ( 2005 to 2009) after securing merit on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Exam 2005. To further advance my career, I took admission in Master of Technology, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (2009 to 2011) after again securing merit in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2009. Finally, after a break of 4 years (2011 to 2015), I moved to my passion of academics, UPES Dehradun as Assistant Professor where I also earned my Doctorate of Philosophy in Engineering after successfully establishing my PhD objectives in result as highly reputed SCI indexed Journals and a Patent.
