•Expose HVCC students to the different sub disciplines of psychology
•Offer students an opportunity for service to the college community
•Establish connections between students and local agencies that use psychological principles and applications

Psychology Club uses Remind to communicate with each other. To sign up, you will use your cell number, but your phone number is not viewable by anyone in the group. The app will send you text messages, and you can reply through text message to the group. You can stop receiving messages at any time.

Help wanted in planning the Careers in Psychology Video Series. Club members will:
identify careers that people with an AS, BS, MS, or PhD in psychology (or related field) might enter
identify people that work in these careers to interview for the video series
devise questions to ask during the interviews

explore current research related to the question(s)
devise a methodology for answering the question(s)
develop measures to collect data
apply for IRB approval for the project
collect data
analyze the data
report the data

Throughout the year, we will arrange for special topic lectures that will be open to the campus community. Club members will:
identify topics of interest
identify speakers
arrange lectures
View past Club events and activities, including EPA conferences and speakers.
