Sales DashBoard - Power BI

Below I present a Sales vs. Returns Dashboard made from fictitious data from an Excel spreadsheet. The goal is to tell a story with this data, gaining needed insights (KPIs) into sales and returns to facilitate the decision-making process.

Tools used: Dax formulas, the Figma tool and color chart for design, and descriptive and predictive statistics concepts.

KPIs: Total sales x product, Billing per month, best selling product, Average Billing, Standard deviation of the quantity of returned products, Products sold by location, Total Billing, Average quantity of returned products, Most returned product, Most returned product by location and date

Filters: by date, By location, and By product

This Dashboard consists of 3 pages: home, sales page, and returns page. All interactive with filters.

Home - On this page the user can automatically navigate to the other two pages, just click on the symbol and the user is directed to the page he clicked on.

Page 1 (Sales) - In this Dashboard we have: quantity sold by product; Billing by city; Average billing and billing forecast (future). Using the filters, we were able to obtain the following insights: the best-selling product by city and by date; the average billing of each product by date and by city; the quantity of product sold by city and by date.

Page 2 (Devoluiton) - In this Dashboard, we have : average quantity of returned products, the standard deviation of returned products, most returned product, returns by cities and the percentage of returned products and products returned per month. Using the filters, we were able to obtain the following insights: what is the mean and standard deviation of returned products overall, by city, by product, and by date; the most returned product by city and date; % of products returned by city and date.
