Productivity Pro is designed with a "Privacy-First" philosophy. We believe your productivity data should belong to you and stay on your device. This extension is built to function without collecting, storing, or transmitting your personal data to our servers.
No Personal Data Collection: The Extension does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, email addresses, or browsing history.
Local-Only Storage: All user-generated content—including To-do lists, Habit tracker logs, Pomodoro settings, and Notepad entries—is stored strictly locally within your browser's chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.sync area.
Data Portability: Because we do not store your data on our servers, your data is only accessible to you through your Chrome profile.
To provide premium features and support, the extension interacts with the following third-party services:
License Verification (Gumroad): If you choose to upgrade to a premium feature, the extension communicates with the Gumroad API (api.gumroad.com) solely to verify the validity of your license key. This is the only instance of data transmission, and it is limited strictly to the license verification string.
External Links: The extension provides links to our Gumroad Store, our Support Page, and the Developer's GitHub profile. These are standard hyperlinks. We do not control, track, or collect any data through these links. Your interactions with these sites are governed by their respective privacy policies.
In accordance with the Chrome Web Store "Single Purpose" and "User Data" policies, we use the following permissions only for their intended features:
Storage: Used to save your tasks, habits, and settings locally so they persist between sessions without requiring an account.
declarativeNetRequest: Used to support the optional Ad-Blocker feature. It applies a static, privacy-preserving ruleset to filter distracting advertisements. It does not allow us to read your browsing traffic.
Tabs: Used strictly to open support links, GitHub documentation, or the Gumroad license page in a new tab upon a user's click.
Host Permissions (<all_urls>): Required for the Site Blocker feature. This allows the extension to detect if a URL matches your custom "Block List" and display a focus overlay. It is also used to communicate with the Gumroad API for license verification.
We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any other telemetry tools. We have no interest in tracking your browsing habits or how many times you click a button.
