Ah war. drove us out of our homes and away from our lives, our families yet it keeps us fed and alive at the same time.We've arrived in a new solar system I believe it's called the Prantos system. according to our scanners it's very rich in ores.I remember hearing about it as a child as well, something about a planet capable of sustaining life. hopefully war doesn't follow us here.

WOOOOO BOY. We found some new type of ore here. at first we thought it was some sort of gold but it turns out it's something different, very different. so far what we've learned is it can be used to make better thrusters on our little miners. slapped some of those new bad boys on and almost killed myself with how fast it went. boys down in engineering are calling it flarite.

War came. We saw some scrap in one of the asteroids we were mining out today. at first we thought it might have been free floating debris from some scrap fight decades ago. but we were wrong..........oh so wrong. Reavers are here. They've always been here.

It's been about a week since i've written in my log. we've been ordered to start colonizing the nearby planets as forward operation outposts since the Reavers were discovered here. We don't know this area all too well and they do. something the company wants to rectify as soon as possible. so far we've gotten a basic hanger up with some wind turbines but not much else we're waiting on a shipment of ingots from one of the mining crews.

I hate this planet. We're running low on supplies and ammo.....and bodies as each wave of Reavers comes in. it started about a month ago when one of our regular shipments of ingots was coming in. everything was going fine until out of nowhere a missile unlike anything we've ever seen came and went through the transport ship. have they been improving their tech? no, no they don't have that sort of capability.........or do they?

We're dead, so dead. the last wave took out our solar panels and wind turbines. We don't have enough resources to build new ones so we're drawing straws to see who's going out in the rover to go find more silicon and nickel.

SHIT. of course i had to draw the short one. so I'm out here about 10km away from our outpost or rather graveyard mining out a few patches of ore i happened to find. almost got spotted last night. had to drive real slow with the lights and signals off otherwise the Reaver scouts would have spotted me. they might still find me.

Everyone is dead. i got back to the outpost and everyone was dead. our defenses ran dry of ammo and most of our outpost is almost wrecked beyond repair. I've built a basic distress beacon and set it to max range. hopefully someone will find it before the Reavers destroy it.

I'm about 50km away from that nightmare and i'm running low on hydrogen and power. i need to find ice. i need to find some sort of shelter.
i received a response signal from the emergency company channel telling me help is on the way. I hope I can live long enough.

Alright so I've gotten a basic outpost built somewhat deep underground. no signals, no lights. managed to find enough silver and cobolt to get some decent power going. everyday is a risk with Reavers going out everyday scouting. seems like they're numbers of scouting runs are increasing. Maybe they found me........I don't know. But it seems like they've gotten smarter.
