Anthony Dixon Johnson stage name TonyBoy (TB) was born in Aiken, South Carolina. Growing up with his parents and 5 (sisters) they moved to Edgfield, SC and lived in an urban area. His first experience as a recording engineer came when he was 17 years old, he became close to one of his older sister’s boyfriends who happened to be an engineer himself who owned his own studio.

While sitting in on a session one day he was asked to record some vocals performed by his sister’s boyfriend who he came to know as Hunk. After recording Hunk showed him how to mix and master those vocals, and from that point on they formed a master and apprentice like bond. Anthony then went on to practice those learned techniques for the next 13 years, until the point came to where he wasn’t as good as he felt he wanted to be. 

He decided to go to a school that could help him develop his talent, so he enrolled at the Los Angeles Film School and for the next 2 years of his life he spent dedicated to becoming the best he could at being not just a producer, but an artist as well. He was met with high success at the school maintaining one of the highest-grade averages among his peers. He was inducted into the HSEA, and has had several songs released during that time, and has developed into a rising up and coming star. He has a total combined 15 years of musical experience, producing and writing music. He even has his own home studio, which he earns a living recording other up and coming talents. His dream is to change the world in any way he can through emotional story telling and compelling lyrics.
