Commander Buchholz is a 1990 graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He was selected for Aviation Officer Candidate School and subsequently commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy in February 1991.
CDR Buchholz graduated flight school as a Naval Flight Officer and qualified to fly as an Electronic Countermeasures Officer in the EA-6B Prowler. He was assigned to multiple operational squadrons and flew missions from the aircraft carriers USS SARATOGA, USS ENTERPRISE and USS KITTY HAWK, accumulating over 2200 flight hours and 260 carier arrested landings.
CDR Buchholz completed three overseas assignments; two of them tours in Japan where he served as a squadron department head with Carrier Air Wing FIVE and Air Operations Officer aboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON. His third overseas tour was in The Netherlands where he was assigned as a joint planner to NATO. He completed staff assignments at the Joint Information Operations Center in San Antonio, TX and the Eastern Air Defense Sector in Rome, NY and received a Masters degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, RI. CDR Buchholz retired from the navy in December 2014 after 23 years of active duty service and has been with TR Proctor NJROTC as SNSI since August 2015.
Command Master Chief Williamson was born in Utica, NY. After graduating from Utica Free Academy he began his career in the U. S. Navy August 18, 1984. After graduation from boot camp in Great Lakes, IL he reported aboard the USS Oak Ridge ARDM-1 for duty as deck seamen. In 1988 he was sent to Field Medical Service School for training prior to heading to 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines in Kaneohe Bay, HI as a Line Corpsman. In 1989 he was promoted to Petty Officer Second Class and was sent the 3rd Marine Regiment and deployed to Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In December 1991 he transferred to Field Medical Service School as troop handler/instructor. In March 1995 he transferred to Surface Force Independent Duty School in Portsmouth, VA . He was transferred to USS Waterford ARD-5 Groton, CT for duty . In 1997 he transferred to USS Nicholson DD982 for duty. While assigned to USS Nicholson he deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Desert Fox and was then sent to Kosovo in support of Operation Allied Force/Noble Anvil. In September 1999 he transferred to the Naval Academy Branch Medical Clinic for duty as Brigade Activities Officer .
In June 2002 he was transferred to Field Medical Service School Camp Lejeune, NC for duty as Command Master Chief. In May 2004, he transferred to 2d Marine Division for duty as Command Master Chief. In February 2005, he was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III. He retired in February 2007.
He holds a Bachelors of Science in Management from Bellevue University and a Masters in Science in Management from Keuka College, NY. Post Graduate Certificate in Superintendent of Schools from Utica College. Has been with Proctor as an NSI since his retirement from the U.S. Navy in 2007.
Chief Hylton grew up in Jamaica, West Indies and Brooklyn, NY and enlisted in the Navy in June 1989.
Deployed on operational tours aboard USS SARATOGA (CV 60), USS O’BRIEN (DDG 975), USS MOBILE BAY (CG 53), USS ESSEX (LHD-2) and USS CHUNG-HOON (DDG 93).
Shore base commands include Navy Research Laboratory, Washington, DC
Overseas assignments include Iraq, Afghanistan and Fifth Fleet Command in Bahrain.
Attended multiple cryptologic training schools throughout 22 years of military service. Retired from the U.S. Navy in 2012 and has been with Proctor as an NSI since 2014.
