About Me :
Dr. Pranav Kumar
Current Affiliation
PostDoc Researcher, Institut für Materialwissenschaft der Universität Stuttgart
I am currently working with Prof. Blazej Grabowski and Dr. Yuji Ikeda at the University of Stuttgart. Our current focus is on understanding the stability of hydrogen storage in Laves phase alloys.
I received my PhD from IIT Madras, India where I had the privilege of working with Prof. Ilaksh Adlakha on a research project focused on solute-induced embrittlement and its effects on plasticity in metals and alloys.
I am also actively looking for collaboration opportunity in the field of computational material science. Feel free to email me
My research interest are
Developing classical/ML Interatomic-potentials for molecular dynamics
Stability of alloys for hydrogen storage
Multiscale-Modeling of dislocation slip and plasticity
Dislocation core-structure and its mobility at lower length scale
Plasticity of low symmetry crystals
Molecular simulation of nano-composites and intermetallics
Structure-property relationship using data-science
