Dr. Pranav Kumar

I am currently working with Dr. Yuji Ikeda and Prof. Blazej Grabowski at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, focusing on the stability of hydrogen storage in Laves phase alloys.

I earned my PhD from IIT Madras, India, where I had the privilege of working with Prof. Ilaksh Adlakha on a research project examining solute-induced embrittlement and its effects on plasticity in metals and alloys.

I am also actively seeking collaboration opportunities in the field of computational materials modelling. Feel free to email me.

• Developing ML interatomic potentials for molecular dynamics

• Stability of alloys for hydrogen storage

• Multiscale modeling of dislocation slip and plasticity

• Dislocation core-structure and its mobility at lower length scale

• Plasticity of low-symmetry crystals 

• Molecular simulation of nano-composites and intermetallics

• Structure-property relationship using data-science
