2. Synthesis of sensors for pH, thiol, reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. 

3. Ratiometric sensors for detection of corrosion, bi and tri chromophoric organic dye based multianalyte sensors.

4. Development of multicolor nano sensor systems by combining one or more dyes in silica or polystyrene nanoparticles to generate tricolor nano sensors.
