The GRAMA is an extensive umbrella project with 9 sub-projects: CROPS, ACRE, PROMISE, PROSPER, PREPARE, AGRI-VAAHAN, KRISHI-X, CGT-XAI and Carbon Framing, which considers different aspects of agricultural farming from pre-production, production and post-harvest activities. We applied different concepts of game theory, AI and ML concepts to these activities for better and informed decision-making of the farmers.
Assisted in the refinement of PREPARE (Price Prediction), extension of CROP-S (Crop Planning System) and key expert for KRISHI-X, and CGT-XAI (Cooperative Game Theory for Explainability) projects, aimed at improving agricultural planning and decision support
Working on the Carbon farming and carbon trading mechanism and LLM-based advisory, such as pre-season and in-season analysis (Automation of AMFUs and PoP based advsiory system) projects
Worked on vision based disease detection system for crops
This is my PhD research work under the guidance of Dr Lalith Achoth. We wanted to enhance the individual farmer cropping patterns, considering various constraints of the farmer and farm characteristics. The study was conducted in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka, and the study was based on both primary and secondary data. The purposive random sampling technique was followed for sample respondent selection in the survey area
An optimization-based farm planning model was developed using linear, MOTAD (Minimization of Total Absolute Deviation) and goal programming to improve income, resource use efficiency, and sustainability of farmers, specific to Chikkaballapur district
A design engine called Cropptern (Cropping Pattern) tool has been suggested
Optimization of resources for crop cultivation was found using the factor share approach
Conducted an independent institutional review assessing the performance, impact, and strategic direction of TAAS through document analysis and stakeholder consultations: I was involved in data analysis and report writing of the project
Worked on segmentation analysis, factor analysis and NLP sentimental analysis
Analysed agro-based industries under the Karnataka Agribusiness and Food Processing Policy (2015),
Examining district-wise cropping pattern changes, mechanization impacts, andÂ
Policy gaps to suggest region-specific interventions
This is my master's research work under the guidance of Dr Raj Kishore Mishra at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology Bhubneswar. I worked on finding out the actual economic and practical in-ground impacts of the Kisan Credit Card Scheme implemneted on 1998 and revised in 2012.
The work was done at Dharwad district, Karnataka. The research was based on both primary and secondary data, and simple random sampling was adopted for sample farmer selection
Analysed trends in credit disbursements, credit utilization by farmers, farmer perceptions on credit limit, income impacts, and policy gaps using regression and ranking techniques
