Carbon, Energy use and water use reductions
Developed strategic directions and actions plans that measure and reduce min. 30% energy use and emissions from Scope 1,2 and 3 baseline for over 35 facilities in U.A.E and in Canada. Projects also include energy and water audits, greenhouse gas accounting, retrofits and improvements for building performance, providing drinking water provision onsite (aligning with Dubai Can initiative) and efforts to reduce water consumption and meet following targets:

Reduce Waste
Implemented programs for Waste diversion through recycling and composting, Phased out plastic use in several projects as much possible.
Responsible consumption
Green procurement strategies, purchased responsible goods, sustainable and safe chemicals, construction materials and educational materials. Developed strategies for sustainable construction/renovation guidelines for children's nurseries and schools.
Greening outdoor spaces
Designed desert gardens using local plant species that have low water requirements and support local wildlife. Setting up raised beds for vegetable gardens for several clients.
Sustainable food sourcing
Developed Low carbon menu options for previous clients that support local farms and plant based diet to reduce carbon footprint
Community and engagement
Organized internal sustainability trainings for 600+ professionals, education campaign for over 20,000 students and staff and specialized workshops for over 200 students. Organized beach and mangrove clean ups and relief collection drives with local partners in the U.A.E
Curriculum review and development roadmap
Researched and developed age-based curriculum frameworks listing knowledge topics, pedagogy methods, learning outcomes and evaluation strategies based on the UNESCO's Greening Education program and their documents such as the Greening curriculum guidance: teaching and learning for climate action and U.A.E's local initiatives (Sustainable Schools, E-Green Tool, Eco Schools, The Naha Platform and SPEA's Sustainability Rating Index for Early Years).
Organized internal award ceremony
Organized sustainable events such as conferences and sustainable annual gala to initiate the culture for celebrating individuals making significant contributions to the sustainable mission and vision of the organizations in U.A.E and Canada.
