• Gave a talk on "Climatic and Anthropogenic Influences on Water Quantity and Quality" in a workshop on “Save Water Save Life: Recent Trends and Advancements in Water Management and its Treatment” held at IPS Academy, Indore during August 21-25, 2023.

May 2023:

• Published an edited book titled 'Hydrology and Hydrologic Modelling' (Proceedings of 26th International Conference on Hydraulics, Water Resources and Coastal Engineering (HYDRO 2021)) by Springer, Singapore. The Editors of the book were P. V. Timbadiya, V. P. Singh, P. L. Patel, and P. J. Sharma.

April 2023:

• Convened a special session on “Trends and Variations in Hydroclimatic Variables: Links to Climate Variability and Change” at EGU General Assembly 2023 in Vienna, Austria during April 23-28, 2023.

• A research paper titled "A comparison of the SCS-CN-based models for hydrological simulation of the Aghanashini River, Karnataka, India" has been published in the Journal of Water Supply: Research and Technology-Aqua, IWA publishing.

December 2022:

• Organized a high-end workshop (Karyashala) on "STatistical Analysis and Modelling of Climate Extremes" (STACE) at IIT Indore during December 12-17, 2022.

October 2022:

• A proposal to organize a workshop on "STatistical Analysis and Modelling of Climate Extremes" (STACE) has been approved by SERB, DST, Government of India under the scheme "Karyashala".

• Associated as a Collaborator in a research project "REgional cooperation for FReshwater Ecosystem Services in Himalayas (REFRESH): Understanding the influences of monsoon variability and compound extremes" funded by the Asia Pacific Network for Global Change Research.

September 2022:

• Associated as a Topic Editor (alongside Deepesh Machiwal, Farshad Fathian, and Vandita Kumari) of a special issue on the theme "Use of Artificial Intelligence Techniques to Advance Hydrological Models and Projections under Climate Change" in Frontiers in Water.

June 2022:

• Two of our research works titled 'Performance Assessment of Coastal Hydraulic Structures: Influence of Sea Level and Tidal Variations' and 'Model Tree-based Approaches for Forecasting Hydroclimatic Variables at Different Temporal Scales' have been presented at the 39th IAHR World Congress at Granada, Spain during 19-24 June 2022.

• A closure to “Nonoverlapping Block Stratified Random  Sampling Approach for Assessment of Stationarity” by Ramesh S. V. Teegavarapu and Priyank J. Sharma has been published in the Journal of Hydrologic Engineering.

• Received Prof. U. C. Kothyari - ISH Best Ph.D. Thesis Award 2020 for my PhD thesis titled "Integrated Assessment of Hydroclimatic Variability Including Streamflow Modelling of a Climatically Heterogeneous Basin in India". The award was presented in the inaugural session (online) of HYDRO 2020 International Conference at NIT Rourkela on 26th March 2021. (Thesis Advisers: Dr. P. L. Patel and Dr. V. Jothiprakash)

• Completed my postdoctoral assignment in Hydrosystems Research Laboratory (HRL) at Florida Atlantic University, USA.

April 2020: 

• Joined Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, USA as 'Postdoctoral Scholar' under the mentor ship of Dr. Ramesh S. V. Teegavarapu, Professor, FAU.

February 2020: 

• A co-authored research article titled 'Spatio-temporal variability of rainfall indices and their teleconnections with El Niño-Southern Oscillation for Tapi basin, India' is published in Asia-Pacific Journal of Atmospheric Sciences.
