Sanjukta Paul
Post Doctoral Research Associate
Hello! I am Sanjukta. After completing my Ph.D in 2019 from SINP, Kolkata and a Post-doctoral term at NISER, Bhubaneswar, I have joined the group at SNBNCBS as a Research Associate in 2021.
I have worked in the area of strongly correlated systems, mainly theoretical modelling and study of Manganites, Manganite Heterostructures and Multi-orbital Hubbard models. Currently I am working on band-structure calculations for Quantum dots and hope to study Twisted Transition Metal Dichalcogenide systems in the future. Apart from Condensed matter physics, I am also interested in modelling problems related to Econophysics and Sociophysics. I love to travel, read books, taste regional cuisine and enjoy cinema. Occasionally I also like to write and do snapshot photography.
