Teaching is an important part of my life and my work as an academic. My teaching informs my research, and my research informs my teaching. I have taught large lectures at R1s and small seminars at liberal arts colleges. Regardless of the setting, my approach emphasizes evidence-based methods, student engagement, and deep learning for transfer. I particularly enjoy teaching research methods and statistics.
