Shri kalyan kirana store ("we", "us", "our") operates the Priya mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using Priya you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Priya is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. During onboarding you are required to confirm your date of birth. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will immediately delete their account and associated data.

Adapting AI performance settings to your hardware
We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or payment card details.
Your date of birth is checked entirely on-device — it is never stored in a database or sent to any server.
We do not use cookies or web trackers.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When you send a message in Priya:
Your text is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our Cloudflare Worker proxy (texting-proxy.textingark.workers.dev).
The proxy verifies your Firebase ID Token, applies per-user rate limits, then forwards the message (along with the current conversation context) to DeepInfra — an AI inference provider — which runs the DeepSeek language model.
The AI-generated reply is streamed back through the proxy to your device.
We do not permanently store your messages on any server. Conversation history is persisted only in the local Room database on your device.
DeepInfra processes your messages transiently to generate replies. See DeepInfra's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.

You can clear all local conversation history at any time from Settings → Manage data → Clear all chat history. This action is irreversible.

We do not share your personal data with these services beyond what is necessary to operate the App.
Firebase Analytics is disabled by default until you explicitly agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy during onboarding. After consent is recorded, aggregate, anonymized usage events are logged.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by deleting your account (Settings → Delete my account).
With your permission, Priya may send optional daily reminder notifications. You can disable these at any time:

We do not send marketing messages, promotional emails, or SMS.
Priya includes a client-side content safety system that screens messages for harmful content before they reach the AI. Flagged messages are not sent to the AI; instead a safety event is logged (anonymized, no message content) to Firebase Analytics to help us improve the system.
Reported messages (via the in-app "Report this message" feature) are stored locally and flagged in our analytics so we can review and improve persona guidelines.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment card information. Google Play's privacy practices apply to all transactions.
Subscription status (Free / Pro / Elite) is verified locally via Google Play's BillingClient — it is not sent to our servers.

You have the right to:
Access the data stored about you — your conversation history is always visible in the App.
Delete your conversation history at any time: Settings → Manage data → Clear all chat history.
Delete your account and all associated data: Settings → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your Firebase account and wipes all local data.
Export — your conversations are stored in a standard SQLite database on your device; you may access them directly if you wish.
Opt out of analytics — delete your account to stop all analytics logging.

All network traffic is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). Cleartext traffic is prohibited by our network security configuration.
Firebase ID Tokens expire after one hour and are refreshed automatically.
Our Cloudflare proxy verifies every Firebase Token before forwarding any request to the AI.
Your conversation database lives in Android's private app storage — inaccessible to other apps and excluded from auto-backup.
We are based in India. Firebase and Cloudflare services may process data in data centres outside India, including in the United States. By using Priya, you consent to such transfers in accordance with applicable law.
Priya is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has used Priya, please contact us immediately so we can delete the account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Significant changes will also be announced within the App.
