PrivateStorage is designed with a strict privacy-first and offline-first architecture.

All data stored in PrivateStorage remains exclusively on your device. The application does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.

PrivateStorage does not require user accounts, cloud services, or internet connectivity.

Your data belongs entirely to you.

Data Collection

PrivateStorage does not collect any personal information or usage data.

The application does not collect or transmit:

• Personal information

• Financial information

• Device identifiers

• Usage analytics

• Location data

• Crash reports

• Any form of tracking data

All information entered into PrivateStorage remains stored locally on your device.

Local Data Storage

Sensitive information stored in PrivateStorage may include:

• Credit or debit card details

• PIN codes

• Passwords

• Bank account information

• Private notes

• Photos stored in the secure vault

• Custom secure entries created by the user

All sensitive information is encrypted locally on your device.

Encryption keys are protected using Apple’s Keychain security system, which provides hardware-level security.

Only minimal metadata (such as entry titles used for organization) may be stored locally in the app’s database.

PrivateStorage relies on Apple's built-in security technologies to protect your data.

• Apple Keychain protection for encryption keys

• Face ID or Touch ID authentication

• Device passcode authentication

Sensitive data remains encrypted at rest and can only be accessed after successful authentication.

No Tracking or Third-Party Services

PrivateStorage does not include third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking libraries.

The app does not use services such as:

• Google Analytics

• Firebase Analytics

• Crashlytics

Your activity inside PrivateStorage is never monitored or recorded.

Offline Operation

PrivateStorage is designed to function entirely offline.

The app does not require internet access and does not communicate with external servers.

Your data always remains on your device.

App Permissions

PrivateStorage may request access to certain device features only when required:

Face ID / Touch ID
Used exclusively to unlock and protect access to your secure vault.

Photos
Access may be requested only if you choose to store images inside the vault.

These permissions are used solely for the functionality of the application and never for data collection.

Data Deletion

Users have full control over their data.

You can delete individual vault entries at any time from within the application.

If the application is deleted from your device, all locally stored vault data is permanently removed.

Data Responsibility

Because PrivateStorage stores all information locally and does not transmit data to external servers, the developer cannot access, recover, or restore lost vault data.

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their device and stored information.

Children’s Privacy

PrivateStorage does not knowingly collect or process personal information from children.
Since the application does not collect any data, it does not store information related to minors.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect improvements to the application or legal requirements.

When updates are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this document will be revised.
