This intimate 5-bedroom (14 beds) estancia is surrounded by grounds that are dotted with ancient oak and pine trees, first laid out in the 1830’s. The rooms are decorated in keeping with the tradition of an Argentine ranch at the turn of the century, many of the furnishings dating from the 19th century. La Bandada has five rooms in all. Two of them are apartments with two rooms each.

Los Potreros provides guests with a true insight into rural life in Argentina. The very heart of the estancia is a 19th century farmhouse and adjacent cottages converted into guest accommodation. There are two rooms in the main building, three in the adjacent cottage, and two connected rooms in a second cottage about 50 metres away from the main building. In total, depending on those visiting, Los Potreros can sleep up to 12 guests.

The Spanish colonial-style building is a 50,000 square foot structure designed by Marcelo Daglio and the owners. The traditional estancia features white adobe walls and red tin roofs with covered walkways linking multiple outdoor courtyards and idyllic gardens. With 12 exclusive suites featuring installations by Uruguayan artists. Big names, including sculptor Pablo Atchugarry and painter Clever Lara, have work in the public spaces.

In a private villa overlooking the sea

It has an integrated living-dining room on the upper floor, with huge picture windows giving lovely views towards the Mansa and Brava beaches.

On the top floor enjoying the best view, with very good spaces and large windows we find a living room, playroom, kitchen and 1 suite.

Terrace with barbecue with large wooden deck. There is one Master suite with an ample bathroom (Ground floor), plus two bedrooms that share a bathroom. On the same level, but accessed independently, there is a semi-suite bedroom with two single beds, and another playroom. There is also a small inner playroom room which can function as a 5th bedroom.

A fully equipped kitchen (including microwave) connects to the deck, which in turn leads to the barbecue area and, via a staircase, to the garden and the pool. The closed garage, service quarters and laundry room are also on the ground floor.

Simple and austere in appearance, the house consists of three geometric volumes set at different heights, with sliding panels to protect the windows and doors. Around the main structure a series of wooden terraces create a multi-level lounge area. The pool extends the width of the terrace, overlooked by the living room. The entire house is surrounded by garden.

All the bedrooms have ample views from which to admire the ever-changing ocean and the serene atmosphere of the open vistas around the house.

Architectural elements are typical of the area: stone and weathered lapacho wood in dark tones, to match the maritime pines in the forest, with their grey-black bark. The flooring is buffed cement on the ground floor, and wooden floors in the rest of the house. Furniture has been made to measure by local artisans, with luxurious details, carefully planned. The dark wood furniture adds personality both indoors and on the terraces.

This spectacular private house is just 50 metres from the José Ignacio lighthouse, right on the beach. It is an outstanding property with unique characteristics in the area, capacity, location, and views.

It consists of a large living room, a dining room and modern very well-equipped kitchen, guest cloakroom, and 3 en-suite bedrooms, all with excellent views of the sea and the lighthouse.

The terrace has a swimming pool, deck, and outdoor barbecue area, and provides direct access to the beach. There is also a separate enclosed barbecue area, with its own living-dining room that can be used as a playroom, plus 2 bedrooms in semi suite for guests.

Furniture is top quality, there is a service unit and a laundry room, and open parking space for 2 cars.
