PRIVACY POLICY — ZOO KEEPER MANAGER

Zoo Keeper Manager ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer ("we,"

"us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

1. OFFLINE APP — NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER

The App is designed to work fully offline. It does not require you to create an account or sign

in to use its core features, and it does not communicate with any backend server operated by us.

All data you enter is stored locally in a database on your own device. We never receive, see, or

have access to the data you enter into the App.

2. DATA YOU ENTER INTO THE APP

The App stores the following categories of data locally on your device:

- Staff records: name, role, phone number, email, assigned zone, hire date, status, notes, and

  profile photo.

- Animal registry records: animal name, species, enclosure/zone, gender, birth and arrival dates,

  weight, diet, health status, microchip ID, and photo.

- Zone/enclosure records and the animal types assigned to each.

- Work schedules and shift assignments.

- Attendance records (check-in/check-out times, attendance status).

- Leave requests and their approval status.

- Task assignments linked to staff and/or animals.

- Announcements posted within the App.

- Any photos you attach to staff or animal records via the camera or photo library.

None of this data is transmitted to us or to any third party by the App itself.

3. DATA RETENTION — HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR DATA

We do not store your data on any server, so we do not retain it in any form outside your device.

All data described above stays on your device for as long as you keep the App installed and the

data has not been deleted. Because we never hold a copy of your data, there is nothing for us to

retain, and nothing for us to delete on our end, after you remove it.

4. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

You can delete your data at any time in the following ways:

(a) In-app deletion — the App lets you delete individual records directly, for example using the

    delete option on staff and animal detail screens (with a confirmation prompt) to remove that

    record and its associated data permanently from the local database.

(b) Uninstalling the App — removing the App from your device deletes its entire local database,

    including all staff, animal, schedule, attendance, leave, task, and announcement data.

(c) Android Settings — go to Settings → Apps → Zoo Keeper Manager → Storage → Clear Data (or

    Clear Storage) to erase all locally stored data without uninstalling the App.

5. BACKUP FILES YOU CREATE

The App lets you create a ZIP backup of your data, including photos, using the Backup & Restore

feature in Settings, and restore data from a backup file you select. These backup files are

created and stored under your own control — on your device or wherever you choose to save or

share them (for example, via your device's share sheet). We do not receive, store, or have access

to these backup files. You are responsible for keeping and deleting your own backup files.

6. PERMISSIONS THE APP USES

The App may request the following device permissions:

- Camera and Photos/Media (Read Media Images) — to let you attach photos to staff and animal

  records.

- Storage (Read/Write, on older Android versions) — to save and restore backup ZIP files and

  exported PDF reports/schedules.

- Internet — used only to process optional in-app purchases (Google Play Billing) for the

  Premium Backup & Restore feature; it is not used to transmit your staff, animal, schedule, or

  other records anywhere.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit your data to us.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any

information from children, and since the App does not transmit data to any server, no such

information is retained by us in any case.

8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The App uses Google Play Billing to process optional Premium in-app purchases. This transaction

is handled directly by Google Play; we do not receive your payment details. The App does not

integrate any advertising SDK and does not display third-party ads.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated

"Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes are posted

constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
