To provide features like Hide and Lock, the App requires access to your device storage.
All photos, videos, and files remain entirely on your device
We do not upload, view, or access your private files

Used to read, move, and encrypt files on your device for hiding and locking purposes.
🔐 Biometric / Fingerprint Access
Used only for local authentication to unlock the App.
Vault does not store or process biometric data

Vault cannot recover lost files if you forget your PIN or password
All protected data exists only on your device
🔔 Data Retention & App Uninstall
Vault stores hidden photos and videos locally within the app’s private storage on your device.
If you uninstall the Vault app, all hidden files stored inside the app may be permanently deleted by the Android system.
To avoid data loss, users should restore all hidden photos and videos back to their device before uninstalling the app.
Vault does not maintain backups or cloud copies of your files and cannot recover data after uninstall.
5. Children’s Privacy
Vault is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children.
