FunSpark (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Remote Control Smart TV mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, protect, and share information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your information is handled.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Our app is designed to allow users to control compatible Smart TVs through their iPhone or iPad using Wi-Fi connectivity and voice commands. In order to provide these features, we may collect limited technical and usage-related information.
We may collect device-related information such as device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, crash reports, and anonymous analytics data. This information helps us improve app performance, fix bugs, and enhance the overall user experience.
We do not require users to create an account to use the App. We also do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as names, addresses, passwords, or financial information unless required for customer support or subscription management.
The App may request access to your device microphone in order to provide voice command functionality for controlling your Smart TV. This feature allows you to speak commands that are transmitted directly to your connected TV or device so that the TV can perform actions such as changing channels, adjusting volume, searching content, or navigating menus.
Voice input is used only while the voice control feature is actively being used by you. The microphone is not used in the background, and the App does not continuously listen to conversations.
Importantly, voice recordings and microphone data are not stored, saved, collected, shared, or transmitted to our servers. The audio is processed only for the immediate purpose of sending your command to the connected TV device. We do not use microphone data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking purposes.
We are committed to ensuring that microphone access is limited strictly to the functionality requested by the user and complies with Apple App Store privacy requirements.
The App requires access to your local network in order to discover and connect to compatible Smart TVs and streaming devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
This permission allows the App to detect available devices on your home or office network so that remote control features can function properly. Without local network access, the App would not be able to communicate with your Smart TV.
The App only uses local network access for device discovery and connection purposes. We do not collect, store, or share information about other devices connected to your network.
The App may request permission to track limited device-related identifiers in order to provide more relevant advertisements and measure advertising performance. This permission is requested through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
Tracking permission helps us understand ad effectiveness, improve marketing campaigns, and support free app features through advertising revenue. If you choose not to allow tracking, the App will still function normally, but advertisements may be less personalized.
We do not use tracking permission to collect sensitive personal information or to identify users personally.
The App may offer premium features through subscriptions and in-app purchases (“IAP”). These purchases are securely processed through Apple’s App Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information, billing details, or financial credentials.
When you purchase a subscription or premium feature, Apple may provide us with limited transaction information such as purchase confirmation, subscription status, expiration dates, and anonymized transaction identifiers. This information is used solely to manage and provide premium functionality.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through their Apple ID account settings.
All billing and refund matters are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
To provide app functionality, analytics, crash reporting, and advertisements, we may use trusted third-party services. These services may collect limited technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location, IP address, and advertising interaction data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
Google may use collected information to improve advertising services, measure ad performance, and detect fraud.
