2.1 Data You Enter (Stored Locally Only)
All data you enter into TransDesk — including client names, contact information, project details, terminology, and financial records — is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database. This data is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party by TransDesk.
2.2 Automatically Collected Data (Third-Party Advertising)
TransDesk displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may automatically collect certain data to serve relevant ads, including but not limited to:
• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
• IP address
• General device information (device type, OS version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

To opt out of personalized ads, you can adjust your device's ad settings under Settings > Google > Ads (Android).

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
4.1 Local Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device in a private database that is not accessible to other apps. Data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
4.2 Backup Files
If you use the Backup feature, a ZIP file containing your data is created and saved to your device's local storage. You are responsible for the security of any backup files you share or transfer to other locations (e.g., email, cloud storage).
4.3 Retention Period
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the app installed and do not delete it. There is no automatic expiration or deletion of data by the app.

5. DATA DELETION
You have full control over your data. You can delete your data in the following ways:
• Delete individual records: Open any client, project, glossary term, or transaction and use the Delete button to permanently remove that record from your device.
• Delete all data: Uninstalling the app from your device will permanently remove all locally stored app data, including the database and any backup files stored in the app's private directory.
• Backup files you have shared externally (e.g., saved to Downloads, sent via email) are under your own control and must be deleted by you from those locations.

6. DATA SECURITY
Since all data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings (lock screen, encryption). We recommend keeping your device protected with a PIN or password. We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it if your device is lost or damaged.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The only third-party service integrated into TransDesk is Google AdMob for advertising. AdMob may collect device-level data as described in Section 2.2.
