PRIVACY POLICY — TourScript

This Privacy Policy explains how TourScript ("the App", "we", "us")
handles your information. Please read it carefully.

1. OVERVIEW

TourScript is an offline-first mobile application. The App does NOT
collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.
All data you enter is stored locally on your device only.

2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, share, or sell any of the following:
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Location data or GPS information
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Any data entered into the App (tours, clients, bookings, finances)
• Photos or images added within the App

3. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

All App data is stored exclusively on your device using a local
SQLite database and your device's internal storage. This includes:
• Tour packages and itineraries
• Client profiles and contact details
• Booking records
• Financial records and expenses
• Images you attach within the App
This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

4. DATA RETENTION
─────────────────────────────────────────────
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you choose
to keep the App installed.
• The App retains data INDEFINITELY on your device until you
actively delete it or uninstall the App.
• There is no automatic expiry or time limit on stored data.
• We do not have access to your data and cannot delete it on your behalf.

5. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
─────────────────────────────────────────────
You have full control over your data. You can delete it at any time
using any of the following methods:
METHOD A — Delete individual records:
Open the App → navigate to Tours, Bookings, Clients, or Finance →
tap the delete icon (🗑) on any record you wish to remove.
METHOD B — Clear all App data:
Go to your Android device's Settings → Apps → TourScript → Storage →
tap "Clear Data". This permanently removes all App data and settings.
METHOD C — Uninstall the App:
Uninstalling TourScript from your device permanently deletes all
data stored by the App, including the local database and all images.
Note: Backup ZIP files that you have shared externally (via email,
cloud storage, etc.) are not deleted by the above methods. You must
manually delete those files from wherever you stored them.

6. BACKUP FEATURE
─────────────────────────────────────────────
The App includes an optional Backup feature that allows you to
export your data as a ZIP file and share it via third-party services
(email, cloud storage, messaging apps).
• The backup file contains all your App data in JSON format
plus any associated images.
• We do not receive or have access to these backup files.
• You are solely responsible for securing backup files you export.
• The security of shared backup files depends on the third-party
services you choose to use (e.g., Google Drive, Gmail).

7. ADVERTISING — GOOGLE ADMOB
─────────────────────────────────────────────
The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect certain device information and identifiers
to serve relevant advertisements. This data collection is governed
entirely by Google's Privacy Policy.

Data that Google AdMob may collect includes:
• Advertising ID (device identifier)
• IP address (for geographic ad targeting)
• App usage interactions with ads
We do not receive, store, or process any data collected by AdMob.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

TourScript is designed for professional use by adults (18+).
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect any information from children.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
─────────────────────────────────────────────
Beyond Google AdMob (described above), the App does not integrate
with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data
collection services. The App does not require user account creation
or login.

10. PERMISSIONS
─────────────────────────────────────────────
The App may request the following Android permissions:
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE:
Used only to allow you to pick and save backup files.
We do not read any of your personal files beyond what
you explicitly select.
• INTERNET:
Used solely to load Google AdMob advertisements.
The App itself does not send any data over the internet.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
─────────────────────────────────────────────
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be
reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
of the updated policy.
