PRIVACY POLICY – TintPro

This Privacy Policy explains how TintPro ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our application. Please read this policy carefully.

1. OVERVIEW

TintPro is a fully offline business management application. The App is designed to work without an internet connection. We do not operate any server, cloud service, or backend system. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our systems.

2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect:
• Your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• Your location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers
• Any data entered into the App (customers, jobs, financial records, photos)
All information you enter into TintPro is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it (except through the backup feature you manually initiate).

3. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

TintPro stores the following data locally on your device:
• Customer names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses
• Vehicle details (make, model, year, color, license plate)
• Job records including service items, amounts, notes, and status
• Photos taken or imported for jobs
• Service catalog items and pricing
• Materials and inventory records
• Financial expense records
This data is stored in an SQLite database and photo files within your device's private app storage. This data is only accessible by you through the App.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA:
TintPro does not retain any of your data on external servers because we have no servers. All data exists only on your device for as long as you choose to keep it.
HOW YOU CAN DELETE YOUR DATA:
You have full control over all data in the App. You can delete your data at any time using the following methods:
a) Delete individual records: You can delete any customer, vehicle, job, service, material, or expense record directly within the App by opening the record and selecting the delete option.
b) Delete all data: You may uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling TintPro permanently removes all data stored by the App from your device, including the database and all photos, with no data remaining on any external server.
c) Manage backups: If you have created a backup file using the backup feature, that file is stored on your device storage or wherever you shared it (e.g., cloud storage, email). You are responsible for deleting those backup files from wherever you stored them.
We do not have the ability to delete your data on your behalf because we never receive or store your data.

5. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following device permissions:
• CAMERA: To take photos of completed jobs (before/after documentation). Only used when you explicitly tap the camera option.
• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To allow you to select existing photos from your device gallery for job documentation.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To save backup files to your device storage (Android 9 and below only).
• INTERNET: Required by Google AdMob to serve advertisements.
We only use permissions for the features described above and do not access any other data on your device.

6. ADVERTISING – GOOGLE ADMOB

TintPro displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:
• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
• IP address and general location
• App usage data for ad targeting purposes
This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not this policy. We do not control, access, or receive this advertising data.

7. BACKUP FEATURE

TintPro includes a manual backup feature that creates a ZIP file containing all your data and photos. This file is saved to your device storage and can be shared to any destination you choose (e.g., email, cloud storage, USB). We have no involvement in or access to this backup file. The security and deletion of this backup file is entirely your responsibility.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

TintPro is intended for use by professional adults (business owners and tradespeople). The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
