PRIVACY POLICY - Temple Staff Ledger

1. INTRODUCTION
Temple Staff Ledger ("the App") is a staff management application
for temples and religious institutions. This Privacy Policy describes
how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
2. DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
The App is designed to work OFFLINE. All data you enter — staff
profiles, shifts, attendance records, leave requests, and
announcements — is stored locally on your device only.
We do not transmit your data to any external server or cloud service.
The App may access:
- Camera and photo library: only when you choose to add a photo
to a staff profile. Photos are saved locally on your device.
- Device storage: to save or read ZIP backup files that you create
using the Backup/Restore feature.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES — GOOGLE ADMOB
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may
collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage
information for ad-serving and analytics. This data is handled
by Google under their own Privacy Policy:

We do not control the data collected by Google AdMob.
You may opt out of personalized advertising via your device
settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
All app data is stored locally on your device (SQLite database
and a photos folder inside the app's document directory).
No data leaves your device through our App.
Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the App
or until you choose to delete it (see Section 5 below).
We do not retain any copies of your data on external servers,
because we never receive it in the first place.
5. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
You have full control over your data. You can delete it in any
of the following ways:
a) Delete individual records: Inside the App, open any staff
member, shift, attendance record, leave request, or
announcement and tap the Delete button. The record is
permanently removed immediately.
b) Clear all app data: Go to your device's Settings > Apps >
Temple Staff Ledger > Storage > Clear Data.
This permanently deletes all app data and photos from
your device instantly.
c) Uninstall the App: Removing the App from your device
permanently deletes all locally stored app data.
We do not store your data anywhere outside your device,
so no additional steps are required on our end after you
delete data using any of the methods above.
6. DATA SECURITY
Because all data stays on your device, its security depends on
your device's own security (e.g., screen lock, encryption).
We recommend enabling device-level security and using the
App's built-in Backup feature to prevent accidental data loss.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date
at the top will reflect any changes. We encourage you to
review this policy periodically.
