Welcome to Recordat Pro ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your
personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains
what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in
relation to it.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Recordat Pro is designed to work entirely on your device. We do NOT collect,
transmit, store, or share any personal data on external servers.
2.1 Data Processed LOCALLY on Your Device Only
- Screen recordings (video files saved to your device storage)
- Audio captured during recording (microphone input)
- Camera footage (front/back camera, used only during Screen + Camera mode)
- App settings and preferences (resolution, bitrate, frame rate, camera
mode, lens preference)
- Recording metadata (title, date, duration, file size, resolution)
All of the above data stays exclusively on your device. It is never
uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere by the App itself.
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Location data (GPS or network-based)
- Contacts or call logs
- Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID)
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Behavioural tracking data

3. PERMISSIONS USED BY THE APP

The App requests the following Android permissions to function correctly:
RECORD_AUDIO
Purpose : Capture microphone audio during screen recordings.
Usage : Audio is saved locally in the recording file. Not transmitted.
CAMERA
Purpose : Display a live selfie-cam reaction bubble while screen recording
(Screen + Camera mode). Users may choose front or back camera.
Usage : Camera feed is rendered on-screen and optionally captured into
the recording. Not streamed or transmitted externally.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA
Purpose : Keep the screen recording and camera overlay running as a
foreground service, which is required by Android for long-running
tasks. A persistent notification is shown while recording.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Purpose : Display a notification while recording is active (required by
Android 13+ for foreground services).
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
Purpose : Display the draggable camera reaction bubble overlay on top of
other apps while recording.
No permission data is shared with third parties.

4. SCREEN RECORDING & MEDIA PROJECTION

The App uses Android's MediaProjection API to capture the device screen. This
requires explicit user consent each time a recording session starts — Android
displays a system-level confirmation dialog before any recording begins.
Recordings are saved to your device's local storage (Movies/Recordat Pro or
the default media directory). The App does not upload recordings anywhere.

5. CAMERA DATA

When you use "Screen + Camera" recording mode:
- The App accesses your device camera (front or back, as selected by you).
- The camera preview is shown as a movable bubble on the screen.
- Camera footage may be embedded into the recording file stored locally.
- Camera access stops immediately when recording is stopped or the app is
closed.
- No camera data is transmitted or stored externally.

6. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All recordings and settings are stored locally on your device. The App does
not use any cloud storage, remote databases, or third-party analytics SDKs.
You can delete any recording at any time from within the App or from your
device file manager.
We implement reasonable technical measures within the App to protect locally
stored data, but we encourage you to secure your device with a PIN, password,
or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized access.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Recordat Pro does NOT integrate any of the following:
- Advertising networks (no ads of any kind)
- Analytics SDKs (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)
- Crash reporting tools (e.g. Crashlytics)
- Social login or sharing SDKs
- Payment processors
The App contains a link to the Google Play Store (for the "Rate App" feature).
Tapping this link opens the Google Play Store app, which is governed by
Google's own Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Recordat Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent
or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through
the App, please contact us at innovastudiotech@gmail.com and we will take
steps to delete such information.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:
- Access : View all recordings directly within the App.
- Deletion : Delete individual or all recordings within the App.
- Portability : Share recordings directly from within the App.
- Settings : Reset or modify all app settings at any time.
There is no account to delete, no server-side data to request, and no
opt-out required — because we never collect your data in the first place.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected
in the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to
review this Policy periodically.
For significant changes, we will update the in-app privacy policy text and may
notify users through a new app version release.

regulations have minimal direct applicability, but we are committed to full
