READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – Allows the app to read media files on your device.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – Allows the app to save media files to your device.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES – Grants access to images and media stored on your device.
Access Network State – Detects changes in your internet connection to support syncing and real-time features.
Post Notifications – Allows the app to send important updates, alerts, and reminders.
Foreground Service – Keeps the app active while in use to support real-time operations like message restoration or backup management.
Foreground Service Special permission – Enables continuous background when the app is actively running, ensuring deleted messages and backups stay up to date.
Media & Storage Access - This permission allows the app to access media files and device storage in order to recover and save deleted messages or media content.
Notification Access - The app requires access to your notifications to detect and securely restore deleted messages.

To function effectively, the app requires Notification Access Permission, which allows it to:
Read, manage, and interact with notifications from other apps.
Store notifications locally on your device.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Required to keep the app running while you're actively using it, enabling real-time tasks such as restoring messages or managing backups.
This foreground service is responsible for continuously monitoring specific directories on the device particularly those used by Whats Ap and Whats Ap Business for file creation, modification, and deletion events. It uses system-level observers to detect changes in real time, enabling automatic recovery of deleted media files. The service displays a persistent notification to inform users that monitoring is active, ensuring transparency and compliance with background execution limits.
To function as intended, this service must run continuously (24/7). If the service is stopped, file changes may go undetected, leading to permanent loss of files that cannot be recovered. Since these file events can occur at any time, uninterrupted operation is essential to reliably deliver the app’s core feature of real-time file monitoring and recovery for Whats ap and Whats ap Business media.
Notification Permission
Recover Deleted Messages App requires Notification Access to provide the core feature of recovering deleted messages. When you receive a message, it first appears in your phone’s notification bar. If the sender deletes the message, our app uses the notification to fetch the text before it disappears. This allows you to view and restore deleted messages that would otherwise be lost. The notification access is used only for this purpose and does not give us control over your device or access to any personal information. All recovered messages are stored locally on your phone, ensuring your privacy and security are fully protected. We do not collect, upload, or share any of your messages with third parties.
Media Permission
To recover deleted media such as photos, videos, audio and documents etc, our app requests media permission to access your phone’s storage. This permission allows the app to detect and save media files that are deleted by the sender, so you can retrieve them later. The access is limited strictly to files related to Whats App message recovery and is never used to collect other personal content on your device. All recovered media remains stored safely on your phone and is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party. This ensures that your files and personal data remain private and under your control at all times.

We do not share, upload, or transmit any sensitive data or information from your device.
Messages and Media Recovery Limitations
This app cannot recover deleted messages or media under the following conditions:
When you mute a group or personal chat.
When messages are deleted by the sender while you are actively viewing the chat.
When notifications for chats are turned off.
When your device is offline.
When messages or media were deleted before installing the app.
App Limitations
The app cannot recover deleted data if your internet connection is unstable.
To improve performance, enable auto-download in Settings > Data and Storage Usage on your messaging app.
Unstable or poor internet connectivity may also affect recovery results.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method is 100% secure. Please ensure your device is secure as well.
6. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us, and we will delete it.
