PRIVACY POLICY — RehabKit
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how RehabKit ("the App", "we", "our") handles
information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy
carefully before using the App.
────────────────────────────────────────
1. OVERVIEW
────────────────────────────────────────
RehabKit is a fully offline application. The App does not require user
registration, does not create user accounts, and does not transmit any of
your personal or patient data to external servers operated by us.
All data you enter — including patient records, appointments, session notes,
exercise programs, financial transactions, and photos — is stored exclusively
on your local device.
────────────────────────────────────────
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
────────────────────────────────────────
We do NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers.
Data entered into RehabKit (patient names, contact details, session notes,
photos, financial records) is stored solely on your device's local storage
and is never shared with us or any third party by the App itself.
────────────────────────────────────────
3. CAMERA AND PHOTO ACCESS
────────────────────────────────────────
The App requests access to your device's camera and photo gallery solely to
allow you to add profile photos for patients and capture progress photos
during therapy sessions. These photos are saved only to your device's private
app storage and are never uploaded to any server.
────────────────────────────────────────
4. STORAGE ACCESS
────────────────────────────────────────
The App requests storage access to:
• Save backup ZIP files to your device's storage
• Read backup ZIP files you select for restoration
Files are only accessed when you explicitly initiate a backup or restore
action. No files are accessed, scanned, or shared automatically.
────────────────────────────────────────
5. DATA RETENTION
────────────────────────────────────────
All data within RehabKit is retained on your device for as long as:
• The application remains installed on your device, AND
• You have not manually deleted the data within the App
We (the developer) do not retain any copies of your data at any time,
because no data is ever transmitted to us.
────────────────────────────────────────
6. DATA DELETION — YOUR RIGHTS
────────────────────────────────────────
You have full control over your data. You can delete your data at any time
using the following methods:
a) DELETE INDIVIDUAL RECORDS:
Navigate to the relevant section (Patients, Appointments, Sessions,
Finance) and use the delete option on any record. Deleted records are
permanently removed from your device immediately.
b) DELETE ALL DATA AT ONCE:
Uninstalling the RehabKit application from your device will permanently
and completely remove all data stored by the App, including patient
records, session notes, photos, exercise programs, and financial records.
c) BACKUP FILES:
If you have shared backup ZIP files to cloud storage, email, or other
apps, you must delete those files manually from those services, as they
are outside the App's control once shared.
Since RehabKit operates entirely offline and we do not hold any of your data
on our servers, there is no server-side deletion request process required.
────────────────────────────────────────
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES — GOOGLE ADMOB
────────────────────────────────────────
RehabKit displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google
AdMob may collect certain information from your device, including:
• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
• Approximate location (based on IP address)
• App usage data and interaction with ads
This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's
advertising settings:
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or
opt out of ads personalization
────────────────────────────────────────
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
────────────────────────────────────────
RehabKit is designed for use by adult healthcare professionals. The App is
not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly
collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and
believe your child has used this App, please contact us at the email below.
────────────────────────────────────────
9. DATA SECURITY
────────────────────────────────────────
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data
depends on the security measures of your device (screen lock, encryption,
etc.). We recommend keeping your device's operating system and security
settings up to date.
Backup files exported from the App are standard ZIP files and are not
encrypted. Please store and share backup files responsibly, especially since
they may contain sensitive patient information.
────────────────────────────────────────
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
────────────────────────────────────────
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be
reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We
encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App
after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
