## 1. Introduction
Quick Note Board ("the App") is a note-taking application that lets you create notes, organize them by categories, search, and backup your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

## 2. Data collection and storage
- **Local storage only:** The App stores your notes and categories **only on your device** using the device’s local storage (e.g. SharedPreferences on Android and equivalent on iOS).
- **No account:** You do not need to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email, or any account data.
- **No automatic cloud sync:** The App does not upload your notes to our servers or any third-party cloud by default. If you use the “Backup” feature, the data is copied to your device’s clipboard; what you do with that data (e.g. pasting into another app or service) is entirely under your control.

## 3. Data we do not collect
We do **not** collect, transmit, or store:
- Personal identification (name, email, phone number)
- Usage analytics or crash reports (unless you use a third-party tool that you have configured separately)
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, or other device data beyond the note content you type in the App

## 4. Third-party services
The App uses the following for core functionality:
- **Flutter / Dart** — App framework; no data is sent to Google by the App itself.
- **SharedPreferences / local storage** — Used only to save your notes and categories on your device.
- **Clipboard** — Used when you tap “Copy” or “Copy backup”; data is only written to your device’s clipboard, not sent to us.
The App does **not** include advertising SDKs, social login, or analytics by default. If the App is later modified to include such services, this policy would be updated and the new behavior would be described here.

## 5. Data retention and deletion
- Your notes and categories remain on your device until you uninstall the App or clear the App’s data (via your device settings).
- We do not retain any copy of your notes on our servers because we do not receive them.

## 6. Children’s privacy
The App does not target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App, please contact us and we will work to remove it from the device (e.g. by guiding you to clear the App data).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we may notify you in the App or via the store listing.
