PixShrink is a lightweight Android photo compression and resizing utility designed to work entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what data PixShrink collects, how it is used, and how to contact us.
PixShrink does not require account creation, login, or cloud storage.
PixShrink may process the following information locally on your device:
The photo you choose to compress or resize
The selected image settings (compression preset and resize option)
Temporary generated output files used for processing and export
Device-level file metadata required for local image handling
PixShrink does not collect:
Your name
Email address unless you contact us
Passwords
Social media accounts
Location data
Contact lists
Payment information
Personal identifiers from your photo library
Cloud-synced user profiles
The app uses your selected photo only to:
inspect the image
resize it if requested
compress it locally
show a before/after result
allow you to save or share the processed image
No photo is uploaded, transmitted, stored on a server, or used for any backend processing unless you explicitly choose to share the output using your device’s system sharing options.
PixShrink is designed to process images locally on your device. Your photos stay on your device unless you choose to share them. We do not operate a backend service, database, or image hosting system for user uploads.
If you use the Save or Share functions, the app hands the final image to your device’s native Android system functions. This may allow you to save the image to a folder or share it with another app. Third-party apps or services used by your device may receive the file only if you explicitly choose to send it.
PixShrink does not use:
cloud storage
user accounts
analytics services
advertising networks
AI APIs
external image processing servers
third-party tracking SDKs
We take reasonable steps to keep image processing local and minimize unnecessary data exposure. Since PixShrink does not store user accounts or server-side personal data, the main privacy protection comes from local-only processing and the absence of unnecessary permissions.
PixShrink is not directed at children and does not intentionally collect personal information from children.
