## Frequently asked questions

**How does Pickex find the photos?**

You pick 1–4 photos of the person. Pickex then compares the faces in your library

against them and collects every match. Adding more reference photos — different

angles, different lighting — noticeably improves the results.

**Do my photos leave my iPhone?**

No. Photos and face data are processed entirely on your device and are never

uploaded. There's no account and no cloud. See our Privacy Policy for details.

**Some photos were missed, or the wrong person showed up.**

Face recognition is never perfect. Two things help: add more reference photos of

the person, and use the sensitivity slider on the results screen — sliding

towards "Broad" finds more photos, "Narrow" is stricter. You can always review

and deselect before deleting.

**I deleted photos by accident.**

They aren't gone. Deleted photos go to **Recently Deleted** in the Photos app and

stay there for 30 days — open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted and restore them.

**I paid, but the app still asks me to unlock.**

Tap **Restore** on the unlock screen. That re-checks your Apple Account for the

purchase. If it still doesn't unlock, make sure you're signed in with the same

Apple Account you bought it with, then email us.

**Is it a subscription?**

No. Pickex is a one-time purchase — you pay once and it stays unlocked.

**I want a refund.**

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at

[reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com).

**How do I delete my data?**

Everything Pickex stores lives on your device. Deleting the app removes all of

it. We hold no personal data of yours — only Apple and RevenueCat keep a record

of the purchase itself.
