Privacy Policy — Pest Control Team

This Privacy Policy explains how the Pest Control Team application ("App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our service. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Data You Enter (Stored Locally on Your Device)
The App stores the following data solely on your device using a local database:
- Staff profiles: names, phone numbers, email addresses, roles, photos
- Client information: names, addresses, contact details
- Work orders and job records
- Chemical inventory records
- Attendance and leave records
- Announcements and schedule data
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not operate any servers or cloud services for this App.
1.2 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect the following information for advertising purposes:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- Device information (model, operating system version)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
- Approximate location (country/region level)
- IP address
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their own Privacy Policy. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
To opt out of personalized advertising, you can adjust your device's advertising settings: Settings > Privacy > Ads (on Android).
1.3 Camera and Photo Access
The App requests camera and photo library access solely to allow you to add photos for staff profiles. Photos are saved locally on your device only and are never uploaded to any server.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
All data you enter into the App is used only to provide the App's features to you. Specifically:
- Staff, schedule, and job data is used to display and manage your team's operations
- Photos are displayed within the App for staff identification
- We do not analyze, share, or monetize the data you enter
3. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, except:
- Google AdMob (for advertising, as described in Section 1.2 above)
4. DATA RETENTION AND STORAGE
4.1 Local Data
All data you enter (staff, clients, jobs, chemicals, attendance, etc.) is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data is retained on your device until:
- You manually delete individual records within the App
- You use the "Clear All Data" function in Settings
- You uninstall the App from your device (this permanently removes all local data)
We do not impose any time limit on how long your data is kept — it remains on your device for as long as you choose to keep it.
4.2 Backup Files
If you use the Backup feature, the App creates a ZIP file containing all your data and photos. This file is saved to a location you choose (e.g., your device storage, email, or cloud drive). The App does not retain a copy of your backup files. You are responsible for managing and deleting backup files you have saved.
5. DATA DELETION
You have full control over your data. You can delete your data at any time by:
- Deleting individual records (staff, clients, jobs, etc.) within each section of the App
- Going to Settings > Data Management and using the restore or data management options
- Uninstalling the App — this completely and permanently removes all locally stored data from your device

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for use by business managers and professionals. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. SECURITY
Since all data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device security settings (screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device protected with a password or biometric lock. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your device being lost, stolen, or compromised.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: view the data you have entered at any time within the App
- Correction: edit any data directly within the App
- Deletion: delete any or all data as described in Section 5
- Portability: use the Backup feature to export all your data as a ZIP file
9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The App may open external links (e.g., LINE messaging). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external services or applications.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
