Outdoor Toolkit ("the App", "we", "our") is a free Android utility application developed for outdoor activities. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information when you use our services. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

To provide you with the core functionalities of the App, we require certain device permissions. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. All sensor and hardware data are processed locally on your device.

• Location Data: We require access to your location (Coarse and Fine) to provide accurate compass readings, real-time weather forecasts, and altimeter data. Your location data is only processed locally or sent directly to trusted third-party weather APIs (e.g., Open-Meteo) to fetch local weather. We do not store your location history.

• Camera Data: We require camera access solely for the Camera Distance Measurement feature and the SOS Flashlight. The camera feed is processed locally in real-time on your screen. We do not record, save, or upload any photos or videos.

• Device Sensors: We access your device's compass, accelerometer, and barometer to provide accurate directional and altitude readings. This data is only processed locally.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ADVERTISING

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. AdMob may collect and use certain information about your device (such as your Advertising ID, IP address, and usage data) to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.

• Google Play Services: The App uses Google Play Services for core Android functionalities.

4. IN-APP PURCHASES

The App offers in-app purchases (such as removing advertisements). All transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Billing system. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information or any financial details.

We value your trust in using our App. Since the App processes most data locally and does not require account registration, the risk of data breaches is minimized. However, remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
