Introduction
Thank you for using NutriDesk ("the App", "we", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. NutriDesk is designed to work completely offline. All data you enter is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any external server by the App itself.
Please read this policy carefully. By using NutriDesk, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
NutriDesk does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with us or any third party. All data is stored locally on your device only.
The following types of data may be entered and stored locally in the App:
Client profiles: names, age, gender, phone number, email address, address, health goals, notes, and profile photos
Appointments: date, time, duration, status, and notes
Health metrics: weight, height, body fat percentage, waist measurements
Nutrition plans: meal plans, food items, target calories
Meal logs: daily food intake records
Food database: food names, nutritional values (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber)
This data is entered voluntarily by you and is stored solely on your device's local storage.
2. How We Use Your Information
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
We do not access, view, collect, or process your data
We do not transmit your data to any server
Data is used only to display information within the App on your own device
3. Photos and Camera
The App may request access to your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to add profile photos for clients. Photos are stored locally on your device within the App's private data directory. Photos are not uploaded or shared by the App.
4. Third-Party Services — Google AdMob
NutriDesk displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information from your device for the purpose of serving ads, including:
Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
Approximate location (based on IP address)
Device type and operating system version
App interaction data
AdMob's data collection and usage is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
To opt out of personalized advertising on Android, go to: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
5. Data Storage and Retention
All data you enter in NutriDesk is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database (via the Drift library).
Retention period: Your data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the App installed or until you manually delete it.
Backup files: If you use the Backup feature, a ZIP file is saved to your device's storage or shared to a location you choose. You are responsible for managing and deleting those backup files.
We do not have access to your data and therefore cannot independently delete it from our side.
6. How to Delete Your Data
You have full control over your data. You can delete your data in the following ways:
a) Delete individual records within the App:
Go to any section (Clients, Appointments, Foods, Nutrition Plans, Meal Logs, Health Metrics)
Tap the menu icon (⋮) next to any record and select Delete
Deleting a client will also delete all related appointments, metrics, plans, and logs
b) Delete all data by clearing App storage:
On your Android device, go to: Settings → Apps → NutriDesk → Storage → Clear Data
This will permanently delete all locally stored data, including the database and photos
c) Uninstall the App:
Uninstalling NutriDesk from your device will remove all locally stored data, including the database file and profile photos
Note: Any backup ZIP files you have saved to external locations (e.g., cloud storage, email) will not be deleted automatically. You must delete those manually.
d) Request data deletion:
Since your data is stored only on your device and we have no access to it, we cannot delete it remotely on your behalf

7. Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings (lock screen, encryption, etc.). We recommend:
Using a screen lock on your device
Enabling device encryption if available
Storing backup files in a secure location
8. Children's Privacy
NutriDesk is intended for use by adult professionals (nutritionists, dietitians). It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has entered personal information through this App, please contact us at laptrinhungdungcoich@gmail.com and delete the data using the methods described in Section 6.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
