1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy describes how MONEYTRACK ("the App", "we", "our") handles

information in connection with your use of the App. By using MONEYTRACK, you

acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


MONEYTRACK is an offline-first personal finance tracking application. We are

committed to protecting your privacy and giving you full control over your data.



2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

MONEYTRACK does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external

servers. All data you enter — including income records, expense records,

categories, wallets, budgets, subscriptions, and bill information — is stored

exclusively on your local device.


We do not require account registration. We do not have access to any

information you enter in the App.



3. DATA YOU CREATE

All financial and personal data you enter into MONEYTRACK is stored only on

your device. This includes:


  • Income and expense transactions

  • Budgets, wallets, and categories

  • Subscriptions and bill status information

  • App settings such as currency, language, theme, and reminder preferences


You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and security of the

data you enter into the App.



4. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

MONEYTRACK may request the following device permissions:


  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send optional local reminder notifications for

    income and expense tracking.


  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore scheduled reminders after the device

    restarts or the App is updated.


  • USE_BIOMETRIC — to support the optional App Lock feature using your

    device's biometric authentication.


These permissions are used solely to provide the stated features. No data

collected through these permissions is transmitted off your device.



5. BIOMETRIC DATA

If you enable App Lock, MONEYTRACK may use your device's biometric

authentication (fingerprint or face recognition). The App does not collect,

store, process, or transmit your biometric data. All biometric authentication

is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The App only receives a

pass/fail result to lock or unlock the App.



6. LOCAL NOTIFICATIONS

MONEYTRACK may send local notifications as optional reminders. These

notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not connected to

any server. You can disable notifications at any time in App settings or your

device settings.



7. BACKUP, RESTORE, AND EXPORT

MONEYTRACK provides optional local backup, restore, and data export features.

These features are entirely user-initiated:


  • Backup files may include transactions, budgets, wallets, subscriptions,

    bill statuses, and selected settings.


  • Exported CSV files may include transaction details such as amount,

    category, wallet, date, note, and recurrence information.


  • Backup and export files are saved to the device storage location or

    document provider you select.


You are solely responsible for securing, managing, and protecting any backup

or export files you create. The developer assumes no responsibility or

liability for any loss, misuse, or unauthorized access related to files you

export or back up outside the App.



8. ANDROID SYSTEM BACKUP

Android may automatically back up app data to your associated Google account

or transfer data between devices if system backup is enabled on your device.

This behavior is governed entirely by Android and your device or Google account

settings, and is outside the developer's control. The developer assumes no

responsibility for data transferred or stored through Android's system backup

mechanisms.



9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

MONEYTRACK does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking,

or crash reporting SDKs. The App does not transmit data to any third-party

services.



10. DATA SHARING

The developer does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial

data with any third parties. Data may only leave your device in the following

circumstances:


  • When you intentionally export or back up your data to a file or external

    storage location of your choosing.


  • When required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable

    governmental request.



11. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Your data remains on your device until you:


  • Delete individual records from within the App.

  • Use the App's data clearing features.

  • Uninstall the App.

  • Clear the App's data through your device settings.

  • Overwrite data through a restore action.


Backup or export files remain where you saved them until you delete them

manually. The developer has no access to and no ability to delete data stored

on your device.



12. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You have full control over your data. You may at any time:


  • Disable reminders and notification permissions.

  • Disable the biometric App Lock feature.

  • Delete your data from within the App.

  • Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored App data.

  • Delete any exported or backup files you created.


13. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND,

EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW,

THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING IMPLIED

WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND

NON-INFRINGEMENT.


The developer is not responsible for any financial decisions, losses, damages,

or other outcomes resulting from your use of the App or your reliance on

information displayed in the App. You are solely responsible for the accuracy

of the data you enter and for any decisions made based on that data.


The developer is not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure,

accidental deletion, uninstallation, or any other cause.



14. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

MONEYTRACK is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable

age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal

information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal

information through the App, please contact us so we can address the matter

appropriately.



15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we

will update the Effective Date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to

review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any

changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
