Lecan Share Pro ("the extension") is a browser tool that lets you back up and restore your login session for a website — that is, the cookies and web storage that keep you signed in — so you can save it or move it to another browser. This policy explains exactly what the extension does with data.
When you click Copy, Download, Paste or Load, the extension reads or writes, for the website in the active tab only:
Cookies for the current site (via the Chrome cookies API, including HttpOnly login/session cookies).
localStorage and sessionStorage for the current site.
This is your login session for that site. The extension only does this in response to an explicit action you take, and only on the site you are currently using it on.
No collection. The developer does not receive, see, or store any of your data.
No transmission. The extension makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
No tracking or analytics.
No selling or sharing of data.
All processing happens locally in your browser. When you export a session, the data is placed on your clipboard or saved as a .ssp file whose location you choose. From that point the file is under your control; the developer has no access to it.
Important: exported .ssp files and clipboard contents are not encrypted and contain your login/session data. Treat them like passwords — store them privately and delete them when no longer needed. Only back up or restore sessions for accounts you own or are authorised to use.
The extension saves two on/off preferences ("clear existing data" and "reload tab") using Chrome's local storage. This never leaves your device and contains no session data.
Lecan Share Pro does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data. All data is processed locally on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party.
Lecan Share Pro's use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Permissions are used solely to deliver the single purpose above — backing up and restoring your own login session for the site you are using. See the store listing for a per-permission justification.
