Privacy Policy for Launcher Uninstaller
Privacy Policy for Launcher Uninstaller
Last Updated: September 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Maple Leaf Inc ("Maple Leaf," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Launcher Uninstaller Android application (the "App").
Launcher Uninstaller lists launchers and other apps installed on your device and lets you start the Android system uninstall flow. The App does not require an account, and Maple Leaf Inc does not operate servers that receive data from the App.
Information the App Processes
The App processes information on your device so it can show installed apps and request uninstalls. Maple Leaf Inc does not collect, store, or transmit that information to our servers.
Installed app information (processed on your device only):
App names, package names, and icons
Whether an app is a launcher, a user-installed app, or a system app
Which launcher is set as the default home app
This information is read from the Android package manager, kept in memory while the App is open, and used only to display lists and to start an uninstall request you choose. It is not sent to Maple Leaf Inc.
Preferences stored on your device: The App stores a small set of preferences in local app storage (Android SharedPreferences). These stay on your device and are not sent to Maple Leaf Inc:
Whether you have finished the onboarding screens
Whether the in-app review prompt has already been shown
A count of successful uninstalls on this device, used only to decide when to offer the review prompt
Uninstalling the App removes these preferences.
Permissions
The App requests these Android permissions:
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: Lets the App see the list of installed packages so it can show launchers, other apps, and system apps. Package information is processed on your device and is not transmitted to Maple Leaf Inc.
REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES: Lets the App ask Android to uninstall a package you select. Android shows its own confirmation dialog. Nothing is uninstalled unless you confirm in that dialog.
The App does not request internet access, location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or SMS permissions.
How Information Is Used
Information processed by the App is used only to:
Show launchers, other installed apps, and system apps
Mark the current default launcher
Start the Android uninstall dialog for an app you select
Remember onboarding and whether a review prompt has been shown
Data Sharing
Maple Leaf Inc does not sell, rent, or share personal information. The App does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
The App does use the Google Play In-App Review API. After several successful uninstalls, the App may ask Google Play to show its review dialog. Maple Leaf Inc does not receive the contents of your review, your rating, or whether you submitted a review. If you submit a review, Google processes it under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Android backup is enabled. If you use Android backup or device transfer, the operating system may include the App's local preferences in a backup associated with your Google account or the transfer. That backup is handled by Google and Android, not by Maple Leaf Inc. You can control backup in your device settings.
Data Retention and Security
Maple Leaf Inc does not hold a copy of your installed-app list or preferences. Installed-app details exist in memory only while the App is running. Preferences remain in local app storage until you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
Because we do not receive this information, we do not maintain a remote database of App users. Local preferences use Android's standard app storage.
Children's Privacy
Launcher Uninstaller is a device utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not ask for a name, email address, or other account details.
Your Choices
You choose which apps, if any, to uninstall, and Android asks you to confirm each uninstall.
You can dismiss the Google Play review dialog. We do not see whether you reviewed the App.
You can clear the App's storage or uninstall the App at any time, which removes the local preferences described above.
You can turn off Android backup in your device settings if you do not want app data included in device backup.
Because Maple Leaf Inc does not receive personal information from the App, we generally have no user profile to access, correct, or delete. If you contact us, we will use your message only to respond to you.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Those rights apply to personal data a controller actually holds. We do not receive the on-device information described in this policy.
If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
International Use
The App runs on your device. Maple Leaf Inc does not transfer App data to our own servers. Google may process in-app review and Android backup data according to Google's terms and privacy policy, which may involve processing outside your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
