Jain Tithi Calendar is built with a “Privacy First” approach. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
The app:
Works completely offline
Does not require login or registration
Does not track your location
Does not access contacts, camera, microphone, or storage
Does not use analytics
Does not use advertising services or advertising SDKs
All Panchang data and user settings are processed and stored locally on your device (see “Data Storage & Deletion” below).
If you contact us via email (nptechworks.in@gmail.com), your email address will only be used to respond to your inquiry and will not be shared or used for marketing. This will be only in response to a communication from you.
Permissions
The app only requests minimal permissions required for core functionality, such as:
Exact Alarm (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to provide precise 6:00 AM notifications for daily Tithi updates. This is essential for religious observance timing.
Notifications: Used to alert you of daily Panchang updates.
Vibration: The app uses device vibration (haptic feedback) for certain buttons, such as:
“Today” date button
“Share” button
This is a local device interaction and does not involve any data collection or transmission.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties. The app includes a user-initiated “Share” feature. When you use this feature, the content (Panchang data) is sent to the Android system share sheet of your choice. The app does not track, monitor, or store any shared content. No data is sold, traded, or transmitted to external companies or services.
Third-Party Services
The app itself does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app is distributed via Google Play and relies on standard Android system services and Google Play infrastructure for installation, updates, and security. You may review Google’s privacy practices here:
Notifications
The app provides an optional daily 6:00 AM Tithi notification.
These notifications are:
Generated locally on your device
Scheduled using standard Android system services
Not transmitted to any external server
No personal data, location data, or usage information is shared.
You may enable or disable notifications at any time via:

Notification delivery may vary depending on device battery optimization settings.
Data Storage & Deletion
All Panchang data (such as Tithi names, festival dates, sunrise/sunset timings) and user-selected settings (such as selected city and notification preferences) are stored locally on your device. No data is uploaded or shared externally. We do not have access to any data stored on your device.
To delete all app data, you may:
Uninstall the app, or
Use the “Clear Data” option in your device settings
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
