This Privacy Policy explains how Insurance Agent Office ("the App") handles information when you use it.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The App operates entirely offline. All data you enter is stored locally on your device only. This includes:
- Agent names, contact details, photos, and roles
- Client names and contact information
- Insurance policy details and commission records
- Work schedules and announcements
The App does NOT collect, transmit, or share any of this data with external servers, third parties, or the developer.
2. DATA COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob may collect certain device information automatically to serve relevant ads, including:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General location (country/region)
- App usage data for ad measurement
This data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings under "Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization."
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
All data entered into the App is used solely to provide the App's features to you:
- Displaying and managing agent, client, and policy records
- Generating work schedules and PDF exports
- Creating team announcements
- Producing reports and statistics
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.
4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
All app data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Data is retained for as long as you keep the App installed on your device.
HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA:
- Individual records: You can delete any agent, client, policy, schedule, or announcement at any time from within the App.
- All data: Uninstalling the App from your device will permanently remove all data stored by the App, including the local database and any saved photos.
- Photos: Agent photos saved by the App are stored in the App's private storage and are deleted automatically when you delete the agent record or uninstall the App.
You are in full control of your data at all times. The developer does not have access to your data and cannot delete it on your behalf.
5. BACKUP FILES
The App provides a backup feature that creates a ZIP file containing your data and photos. This file is stored in a location you choose on your device. If you share this backup file via email, Google Drive, or other services, it is governed by the privacy policies of those services. The developer does not receive or store backup files.
6. PERMISSIONS
The App may request the following permissions:
- CAMERA: To take photos of agents
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To select existing photos for agents
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To save backup files (Android 9 and below)
- INTERNET: Required by Google AdMob to load advertisements
These permissions are used only for the stated purposes within the App.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has entered personal data into the App, you may delete it directly within the App or by uninstalling the App.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
