Geometry Solver ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect your name and email address when you sign in with Apple or Google. You may also use the app in Guest Mode without creating an account, in which case no personal information is collected.

Geometry Problem Images

When you upload a photo for geometry problem solving, the image is sent to our servers for AI processing. We collect problem images only for the purpose of analyzing geometry problems and providing step-by-step solutions. We do not use problem images for any purpose other than generating solutions.

Non-Personal Information

We may collect usage data such as:

• Problems analyzed

• Number of solutions generated

• Device type

• App interactions

This data helps us improve and optimize the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Provide geometry problem-solving and step-by-step solutions

• Process images for geometry problem detection and analysis

• Enable follow-up questions about solved problems

• Improve app accuracy, performance, and features

• Enhance user experience

Problem images are used exclusively for geometry analysis and are never used for advertising, tracking, or identity purposes.

To perform this analysis, your problem images and optional text descriptions are sent to OpenAI (via their Vision API) through our secure servers. OpenAI processes the data solely to generate solutions and does not store or reuse your images.

3. Image Processing and Retention

Storage of Problem Images

Problem images are processed temporarily to perform geometry analysis. We do not permanently store problem images on our servers. After analysis is completed, image data is deleted automatically.

Retention Period

Problem images are retained only for the duration necessary to complete the analysis and are then permanently deleted.

Local Storage

Solved problems, solutions, and follow-up chat conversations are stored locally on your device only (up to 1,000 problems). You can delete them at any time from the app.

4. Data Sharing

Image Sharing with Third Parties

Problem images may be sent to trusted AI processing providers (such as OpenAI Vision API) only to perform geometry analysis.

• These third parties do not receive ownership of the data

• They are not permitted to store, reuse, or sell image data

• Image data is processed securely and deleted after analysis

Profile Information Storage

We use secure cloud storage services (Firebase) to store profile information safely.

Subscription Management

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or share image data or personal data with advertisers.

Problem images are sent to OpenAI (through their Vision API) to perform geometry analysis.

This is the only third-party AI service we use.

5. Children's Privacy

Geometry Solver does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will promptly delete it.

6. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
