Whats Link ("the App") is a professional communication and productivity utility developed by AntoTech ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App. Whats Link is designed for business owners, marketers, and individuals to streamline WhatsApp interactions through custom link generation, QR codes, history management (The Vault), and AI-powered message translation.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The App is designed to operate primarily with local processing, ensuring that your sensitive contact lists and message history remain exclusively on your device.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

• Link Generation Data: When you enter phone numbers and compose messages, the data is processed locally to generate standard wa.me URLs. This data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

• The Vault (History): The App allows you to maintain a local "Vault" of your generated links and contacts. This data is stored 100% locally on your device using localStorage. We do not have access to your Vault or client lists.

• Email Signatures: HTML signature generation is performed locally within your device's browser environment.

B. Hardware Access & AI Processing

• Microphone & Voice Dictation: The App requests access to your microphone to allow voice-to-text dictation. Audio is processed into text in real-time. We do not record, save, or transmit your voice recordings to any server.

• AI Translation (Google Gemini): If you use the "Translate" feature, the text of your message is sent to the Google Gemini API to perform the translation. No personal identifiers (such as phone numbers) are sent to the AI model along with the text.

C. Third-Party Services & Identifiers

• Link Shortening (is.gd): If you choose to "Shorten" a link, the generated WhatsApp URL is sent to the external service is.gd. This service only receives the URL to provide a shortened version.

• Advertising (Google AdMob): The App displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP address, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

• Local Preferences: We use local storage to remember your settings, such as language preference (English/Spanish), theme (Dark/Light), and last used country codes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Provide core functionalities like link generation and QR code creation.

• Facilitate AI-powered translations using Google GenAI technology.

• Maintain your private "Vault" records for your convenience.

• Display relevant advertisements through the AdMob network.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your information. However, we interact with the following third-party services necessary for the App's functionality:

• Google Gemini API: For processing text translations.

• is.gd: For URL shortening services.

• Google AdMob: For managing and displaying advertisements.

• Cordova Plugins: Used for system-level functions like Social Sharing (for CSV export) and InAppBrowser (to open WhatsApp).

5. Data Security

• Local Storage: Be aware that data saved in "The Vault" stays only on your device. If you uninstall the App or clear your app cache/data, this information will be permanently deleted.

• CSV Export: When you export your history, the file is handled by your device's native sharing system. You are responsible for the security of the exported file.

• Sensitive Data: While WhatsApp links are standard, we recommend not including passwords or sensitive financial information in custom messages.

6. Children's Privacy

Whats Link is a professional tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Full Control: You have full control over your data. You can delete individual records or clear the entire Vault at any time within the App.

• Permission Management: You can revoke microphone permissions at any time through your device's operating system settings.

• Ad Opt-Out: You can limit personalized ads by adjusting your device's privacy settings (e.g., "Reset Advertising ID").

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will always be accessible via the Settings section of the App.
