Privacy Policy

Unscroll is a Chrome extension that helps users reduce distractions on Instagram by allowing users to hide Reels, Explore, Stories, Suggested Posts, Sponsored Posts, and optionally limit feed content.

Data collection

Unscroll does not collect or sell personally identifiable information, financial information, passwords, authentication credentials, location information, personal communications, browsing history, or analytics data.

Local settings

Unscroll stores the user's extension preferences using Chrome's local extension storage. These preferences determine which Unscroll features are enabled or disabled.

Instagram page content

Unscroll processes Instagram page content locally in the browser solely to provide its advertised filtering and distraction-reduction features. This information is not sent to an Unscroll server or sold to third parties.

Third parties

Unscroll does not transfer user data to third parties for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Security

Unscroll does not require users to create an Unscroll account or provide their Instagram password to the extension.

Changes

If Unscroll's data practices change, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
